Science Teacher - Secondary School, Bolton
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bolton on a full-time basis.
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable teacher who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging Science lessons that promote curiosity, achievement, and a love of learning. This role would suit an experienced teacher looking for their next challenge.
The Role
- Teach Science across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and achievement.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
