Job description

Position: Fully Qualified Science Teacher
Start Date: After October Half Term
Location: Secondary School – Bolton

We are seeking an enthusiastic and fully qualified Science Teacher to join our dedicated team at a secondary school in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact on students’ learning and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and a love for learning.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards within the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver the curriculum effectively.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
