Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a recent Science Graduate to join one of our client schools in Manchester as a Teaching Assistant.
This role will be full-time, starting in September at the beginning of the new academic year.

- You will earn a competitive salary between £1500 and £1800 per month.
In order to be cleared to work within this school, it is essential that you are willing to undergo a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check, this will ensure that there are no criminal convictions that should prevent you from working with young people. This will also need to be placed onto the update service to ensure that this remains active and an accurate check. You will also be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references. You will also need to complete an online safeguarding course to ensure that you are well prepared to support young people through difficult situations.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- You should ensure that the pupils are always working within a safe environment, especially during scientific experiments.
- You should also ensure that the pupils are gaining a better understanding of the subject by working in small groups of pupils or on a one-to-one basis.
- You must also use your own knowledge of the subject to answer any questions that the pupils may have regarding the lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
