Science & Maths Teacher | Part-Time | September Start

Looking for a flexible teaching opportunity this September?

Teaching Personnel is working with a lovely, welcoming school to recruit an enthusiastic Science & Maths Teacher for a part-time role, starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys inspiring young people across both Science and Mathematics. The successful candidate will work 2 days per week (Thursdays and Fridays), delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils develop confidence and curiosity in both subjects.

The Role

  • Part-Time Science & Maths Teacher
  • 2 days per week – Thursdays and Fridays
  • September start
  • Paid to scale (M1–M6, dependent on experience)
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science and Maths lessons
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support high-quality teaching and learning
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or has relevant teaching experience
  • Has experience teaching Science and/or Maths
  • Is confident delivering engaging lessons that motivate and challenge pupils
  • Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Is organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
  • Is committed to achieving the very best outcomes for all learners
