We're looking for an Intervention Specialist to join a supportive primary school in Swansea, working closely with children who benefit from additional emotional and behavioural support.

£92.63 per day

Your Mission

Every child deserves someone who believes in them.

As an Intervention Specialist, you'll support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them develop confidence, resilience and positive relationships so they can succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

You'll be the reassuring, consistent adult who helps children navigate challenges, celebrate achievements and enjoy coming to school.

A Day in the Role

No two days are the same, but you could be...

Greeting pupils and helping them start the day positively

Providing one-to-one support to children who need extra encouragement

Working alongside teachers to adapt activities and keep pupils engaged

Helping children understand and manage their emotions

⚽ Using games, sport and practical activities to build confidence and social skills

Recognising and celebrating every success, no matter how small

Creating a calm, safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive
