Position: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Schools across Northampton
Contract Type: Flexible (Short-Term & Long-Term Bookings)

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable RE Teacher with a desire to inspire students through the study of world religions and ethical issues? Teaching Personnel is looking for skilled RE specialists to join our team, offering both short-term and long-term teaching opportunities in schools across Northampton.
About the Role: As an RE Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will have the flexibility to work on short-term or long-term placements, depending on your availability. You’ll be responsible for teaching engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of schools and make a meaningful impact on students' understanding of diverse beliefs and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage students to explore different religions, cultures, and ethical issues.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Adapt to the needs of different schools and student groups while maintaining high teaching standards.
- Promote a respectful and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified RE teacher (QTS or equivalent).
- A strong understanding of Religious Education curriculum and key issues in the subject.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Flexibility to work in different schools across Northampton.
- A positive and adaptable attitude to inspire students from diverse backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
