Reception Class Teacher – Stretford
Teaching Personnel are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Stretford area. About the Role:
As the Reception Teacher, you will:
- Deliver a creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports learning through play, exploration, and early skill development.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel safe, confident, and motivated to learn.
- Support children in developing early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills.
- Work collaboratively with the EYFS team, parents, and external agencies to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.
- Carry out accurate observations, assessments, and record-keeping to track progress and inform next steps.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Has experience teaching in Reception or EYFS (ECTs are welcome to apply).
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early child development.
- Is creative, nurturing, and passionate about inspiring young learners.
- Can build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
