Reception Teacher – CF11, Cardiff
Full-Time | 172.98 | Through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a welcoming and well-established primary school in the CF11 area of Cardiff who are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and dedicated practitioner who understands the importance of the Early Years Foundation Phase and is passionate about giving children the very best start to their education.

The Role:

  • Full responsibility for a Reception class

  • Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences

  • Supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development

  • Creating a warm, structured and stimulating classroom environment

  • Working closely with teaching assistants and parents

  • Monitoring progress and adapting provision to meet individual needs

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience within Reception or Early Years

  • Strong understanding of the Foundation Phase curriculum

  • Confident in delivering phonics and early numeracy

  • Patient, creative and highly organised

  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
