Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) – Reception Class
Location: CF3, Cardiff
Start Date: Summer Term
Pay Rate: £172 per day
Contract: Full-time (via Teaching Personnel)

Are you a passionate Newly Qualified Teacher ready to begin your teaching journey in a supportive and welcoming school? We are working with a fantastic primary school in the CF3 area who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic NQT to take on a Reception class from the Summer Term.

This is a brilliant opportunity to gain valuable experience within Early Years, with a school that prides itself on creating a nurturing and engaging environment for both pupils and staff.

The Role:

  • Full classroom responsibility within a Reception class
  • Delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Working closely with support staff and senior leadership
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (or due to achieve this year)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Creative, energetic, and approachable personality
  • Passionate about supporting early development and learning
  • Confident in managing a classroom and building positive relationships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
