Reception Teacher – Full Time

CF3 Area
September Start – October Half Term
Fixed-Term Cover (Pre-Planned Absence)

A welcoming and busy two-form entry primary school in the CF3 area is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September until October half term to cover a pre-planned absence.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely and supportive school with an excellent leadership team, strong routines and a positive learning environment. The school benefits from onsite parking and good transport links, making it easily accessible.

The successful candidate will work within a well-established EYFS team and will be supported throughout the placement. Weekly PPA time will also be provided.

The Role:

  • Full-time Reception Teacher position
  • September start until October half term
  • Teaching within a vibrant and engaging EYFS environment
  • Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning opportunities
  • Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
  • Working collaboratively with the parallel class teacher and wider EYFS team
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS
  • Have recent experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be nurturing, proactive and engaging
  • Have a sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and framework
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Be passionate about creating exciting learning experiences for young children

This role would suit an experienced EYFS teacher or a confident practitioner looking to join a friendly and supportive school environment for the autumn term.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
