Qualified Maths Teacher (January 2026 Start)
Location: CF34, Bridgend
Contract: Full-Time, January 2026 – July 2026 (2-term placement)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (paid via agency)

Are you an enthusiastic and qualified Maths teacher looking for a rewarding new role? We are working on behalf of a close partner secondary school to recruit a dedicated teacher of Mathematics to join their team from January 2026 until July 2026.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Plan, prepare, and assess in line with school policies
  • Support pupil progress and contribute to the wider school community
  • Work collaboratively within an experienced maths department
  • Full teaching responsibilities required (planning, marking, parents’ evenings, etc.)

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Maths
  • Current enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
  • Registration with Education Workforce Council (or willingness to register)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
