Full-Time Mathematics Teacher Job – Llandrindod Wells

We are looking to appoint a motivated and passionate Mathematics Teacher for a full‑time position in a secondary school in Llandrindod Wells. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Maths Teacher or an ECT seeking a supportive, forward‑thinking school environment.

Mathematics Teacher – Key Responsibilities

As the school’s full-time Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available if suited)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Use assessment to monitor and support pupil progress
  • Support learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
  • Work closely with the Maths Department and Teaching Assistants
  • Contribute to the wider school community and pastoral duties

Mathematics Teacher – Requirements

You will need:

  • QTS or PGCE in Mathematics
  • Experience teaching in a UK secondary school
  • Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching Maths
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to raising standards and helping pupils progress
