The Role

We are working in partnership with a wide range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Cambridge, all seeking support staff to meet the diverse needs of their pupils.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs

  • Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, either in-class or in breakout spaces

  • Assisting teachers in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development

Most roles are temporary to start but have the potential to become long-term or permanent for the right candidates.


About the Schools

Our partner schools in Cambridge are known for their supportive environments, inclusive ethos, and commitment to staff development. Working hours typically fall between 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday, with both full-time and part-time positions available to suit your lifestyle.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • At least 6 months’ experience working in a school or similar educational setting within the last 3 years

  • A TA qualification (Level 1, 2, or 3) or equivalent experience

  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting children with diverse needs

  • An Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service (or be willing to apply — full support provided)
