Qualified Science Teacher

Location: Walsall

Start Date: Summer Term

Pay Rate: MPS (dependent on expereicne) 


 

We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Science Teacher to support across secondary schools in the Walsall area. This is a great opportunity to work in a variety of school settings, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially up to Key Stage 5.

You’ll gain valuable experience, build strong relationships within schools, and make a real impact on student progress. We’re looking for someone passionate about Science, confident in the classroom, and committed to creating a positive learning environment.

Role Responsibilities: 

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5)

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs

Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour procedures

Contribute to the wider school environment and support student development

 

Role Requirements: 

Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)

Strong classroom management skills

Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Good understanding of safeguarding and school policies

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
