Location: Walsall

Start Date: September 2026 

Pay Rate: MPS (dependent on experience) 


 

Are you a passionate and qualified Music Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity in education?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a partnered secondary school in Walsall for a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop their skills across Music Technology in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress and fostering a positive learning environment where students can develop both their practical and theoretical understanding of Music Technology.


What you will be doing: 

  • Deliver high-quality Music Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where required
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students in developing their practical, technical and creative skills
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider department
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching Music Technology within a UK secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music Technology
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • Two professional references covering the last two years
