Are you a passionate and qualified Music Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity in education?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a partnered secondary school in Walsall for a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop their skills across Music Technology in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress and fostering a positive learning environment where students can develop both their practical and theoretical understanding of Music Technology.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver high-quality Music Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where required
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students in developing their practical, technical and creative skills
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider department
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching Music Technology within a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music Technology
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Two professional references covering the last two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
