Role - Maths Teacher
Location – Wolverhampton
Position: Full Time
Pay Salary - £171.00 - £250.00 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to work within a secondary school in Wolverhampton on a full-time basis. The school is looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, confidence, and strong subject knowledge into the classroom to help students develop a positive attitude towards Maths.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths across the school, planning well-structured lessons, and creating a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to engage with mathematical concepts. You will be expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, support learners of all abilities, and help students build both confidence and achievement in the subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
- Create a positive, focused, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students in developing confidence, problem-solving skills, and mathematical understanding
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to support achievement
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff
- Encourage student participation, progress, and a positive attitude towards learning
- Prepare students for assessments and GCSE examinations
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge across the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A proactive, organised, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for education and supporting student achievement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
