Start Date: Summer Term 2026
Pay Rate: £160-£210
About the role:
Are you a passionate Maths Teacher who can turn numbers into confidence and confusion into clarity? We are working with an ambitious and supportive secondary school in the Walsall area who are looking for a Qualified Maths Teacher to join their team and make a real impact in the classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can bring energy, structure and creativity to Maths lessons, helping students build strong foundations while also stretching higher ability learners. You will be joining a school where expectations are high, behaviour is well managed and staff are genuinely supported to do what they do best: teach.
Job Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Maths
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
Passion for raising attainment and student confidence in Maths
Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
Commitment to supporting learners of all abilities
Experience delivering GCSE Maths is highly desirable
A proactive, adaptable and positive teaching approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
