Qualified Maths Teacher

Location: Walsall, Secondary School

Start date: ASAP/ Easter Half term

Pay Rate: £150-£250 (dependent on experience) 


Teaching Personnel are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for a partner secondary school in the Walsall area. We’re looking for a dedicated, reliable, and confident teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3–KS5, support student progress, and maintain a positive learning environment. Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a passion for helping students succeed are essential. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school setting.

What You’ll Do

Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3–5

Teach core Maths topics, exam techniques and problem-solving skills

Develop students’ numeracy and analytical abilities

Support pupils in both whole-class and small-group settings

Promote positive behaviour, participation and engagement

Build strong professional relationships with students and colleagues

Act as a positive role model within the school environment


Who We’re Looking For

Qualified teachers with QTS in the UK

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics across KS3–KS5

Confident, calm and consistent in the classroom

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Resilient and able to manage challenging behaviour

Experience working with young people in teaching or classroom settings

DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
