What You'll Be Doing
As a Food Technology Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students to develop their cooking, preparation and practical skills.
- Teach students about nutrition, healthy eating, food preparation and the wider Food Technology curriculum.
- Create an engaging classroom environment where students feel confident to learn, experiment and develop.
- Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to help students reach their potential.
- Work alongside experienced teachers and supportive school teams.
- Make a genuine difference to students' confidence, skills and future aspirations.
⭐ What We're Looking For
We're looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher who can bring energy and creativity into the classroom.
You'll need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK secondary school.
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Food Technology curriculum.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for practical learning and developing students' confidence.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- A reliable, professional and enthusiastic approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete the required safeguarding checks.
