Primary SEN Teacher Required – Mitcham Area

£170–£250 per day (PAYE – No Umbrella Companies)
Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Mitcham area that is seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for Special Educational Needs (SEN) to make a meaningful difference to pupils' lives.
The successful candidate will work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a supportive school environment.

The Role – Full-Time Primary SEN Teacher
As a full-time Primary SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs and ensuring they receive high-quality, inclusive education. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated, and inclusive lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment where every child can thrive
- Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external agencies to support pupil progress
- Developing and implementing personalised learning strategies and interventions
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues
- Promoting positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and independence
- Contributing fully to school life and supporting the school's inclusive ethos
We Are Looking For Teachers Who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching in UK primary schools and/or working with pupils with SEND
- Are passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for children with additional needs
- Can create engaging and accessible learning experiences for all learners
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, resilience, and excellent communication skills
- Are seeking a full-time, consistent teaching role within a supportive school environment
- Bring energy, professionalism, and a positive attitude to school life
- Are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
