Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time and Part-time Opportunities Available
Pay: £130–£251 per day (depending on experience)

The Role
- Deliver engaging and well-planned Psychology lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where students can thrive.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils and encourage academic success.
- Foster students' critical thinking, analytical skills, and understanding of psychological theories and research.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to promote outstanding educational outcomes.
- Uphold high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and achievement.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Psychology within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A thorough understanding of the Psychology curriculum and examination requirements.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping every student reach their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
