The Role
As a Psychology Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Psychology lessons that inspire curiosity and academic success
- Teach Psychology across Key Stages 4 and 5, with opportunities in Key Stage 3 where applicable
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing targeted support where needed
- Encourage critical thinking, independent learning, and a deeper understanding of psychological concepts
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Psychology within a secondary school or sixth-form setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for Psychology and a commitment to raising student achievement
- The ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
