Psychology Graduate – Teaching Assistant
Location: Warrington
Pay: £90 - £100 / Day
Contract: Full-time or Part-time, Flexible Options
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience working with children? A supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Warrington is searching for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team and help with pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will become a key part of the classroom, offering guidance and encouragement to pupils who may need additional support. You’ll work alongside experienced teaching staff to create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and confident.
Main Duties:
- Provide tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to reinforce learning.
- Help children who may have social, emotional, or behavioural challenges to engage positively in school.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, the SENCO, and parents to ensure pupils receive consistent and effective support.
- Encourage independence, resilience, and curiosity in everyday classroom activities.

What We’re Looking For:
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A degree in Psychology or a related subject.
- Someone kind, patient, proactive, and keen to learn from experienced professionals.
- Previous experience with children is a bonus but not a requirement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
