Teaching Personnel is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an Inclusive Learning Support Assistant to join a warm, supportive SEN school in Bristol (BS24).

Role: Inclusive Learning Support Assistant – SEN School (Personal care involved)
Location: Bristol, BS24
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (PAYE)
Pay: £13.75+ per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)


The Role

As an Inclusive Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping children with complex needs access learning and develop essential life skills. You will:

  • Support pupils with Profound, Multiple, Learning difficulties (PMLD) medical, physical and personal care needs.

  • Assist pupils in lessons – both 1:1 and in small group settings.

  • Encourage and monitor progress in academic, social, and emotional areas.

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and professionals to deliver a holistic approach to care and learning.

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can flourish.


What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN, healthcare or coaching backgrounds are welcome).

  • A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.

  • Willingness to learn about medical procedures, personal care, or therapeutic strategies.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

  • You must be over 18.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
