Primary Teaching Assistant – Bring Your Spark to KS1!
Location: Stockton
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience, paid weekly)
Contract: Part-time (Monday – Wednesday)
Are you a creative, caring and energetic Teaching Assistant who loves helping little learners shine? Teaching Personnel are looking for a fun, enthusiastic Primary TA to join a warm and supportive primary school in Stockton!
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with KS1 pupils, supporting them in small groups and 1:1 sessions – and bringing your imaginative flair to help them thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting KS1 pupils through small‑group interventions and personalised 1:1 support
- Using creative approaches to spark engagement and keep children motivated
- Helping pupils with academic progress, emotional regulation and social development
- Working alongside a friendly class teacher and wider team
- Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a nurturing classroom vibe
⭐ What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
- Experience working in a primary setting
- Someone proactive, adaptable and great with children
- Confidence in using creative ideas to bring learning to life
- Commitment to a long‑term role (with the potential to go permanent!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
