Location: Saltash, Cornwall
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities Available

Teaching Personnel are working with welcoming primary schools in the Saltash area who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams. The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils across the classroom with learning activities
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Assist with classroom preparation and general school duties
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)
- Are patient, caring, and adaptable
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
