Job description

Teaching & Support Staff – KS1 & KS2

Milborne Port (near Yeovil)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with ACE Excellence to recruit additional teaching and support staff to meet growing demand across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

We are supporting schools in Milborne Port (near Yeovil) and are looking for passionate, committed educators who are keen to make a positive impact in the classroom.

About the Role

  • Supporting teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2
  • Working closely with class teachers and school staff
  • Opportunities for both short-term and long-term placements
  • Roles suited to Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Learning Support Staff

Vetting & Safeguarding

All successful educators are recruited and vetted through Teaching Personnel and must:

  • Complete a thorough vetting and safeguarding process
  • Undertake mandatory training prior to placement
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
    (If not already on the Update Service, applicants can apply)

  • Experience working with primary-aged children (KS1/KS2)
  • A positive, adaptable, and professional approach
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and classroom support
  • Commitment to supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
