Job description
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a full-time Primary Teacher to start in January 2026. The school are looking for someone with a passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
About the role:
- Start-date: January 2026
- Ongoing/long-term role
- Full-time
As a Primary Teacher, you will create and deliver engaging lessons which inspire pupils and create a positive learning environment. You will work closely with support staff to identify students who require additional learning support, creating individualised learning plans. You will communicate with parents/carers to provide regular updates when necessary. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider school community, participating in assemblies and school trips/extracurriculars.
What we’re looking for:
- QTS with primary teaching background
- Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Up to date with current teaching techniques and behaviour management practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and staff
- A calm and empathetic approach to challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
