Do you have the creativity and enthusiasm to inspire Year 2 children to reach their full potential? At Teaching Personnel, we are working with a school in Rochdale is seeking a motivated and caring Year 2 teacher to join their wonderful team after Easter 2025.

About the Role:
As a Year 2 teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for our young learners. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team of teaching staff and contribute to the overall ethos and development of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and motivate Year 2 children.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and tailored support.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to enhance student learning.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
  • Contribute to the school’s development plans and wider school community.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A proven track record of effective teaching and a passion for primary education.
  • Strong understanding of the Year 2 National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
  • A creative, flexible approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
