KS2 Primary Teacher – NP20, Newport
Location: NP20, Newport
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £172.98 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)
Hours: Monday–Friday | Full-time
A welcoming and supportive primary school in the NP20 area of Newport is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role
As the KS2 Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (placements considered for ECTs).
- Has strong knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales.
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Is passionate about helping every child achieve their potential.
- Is reliable, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality education.
