Teaching Personnel are now recruiting Primary Teachers for September 2026 to support a range of schools across Newport and the surrounding areas.
We are looking to hear from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and experienced classroom practitioners who are looking to secure their next role for the new academic year.
Whether you are looking for your first teaching post, a new long-term opportunity, or the flexibility of supply work across different schools, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for teachers who are:
• Passionate about teaching and making a difference in the classroom
• Confident delivering engaging lessons across the Primary age range
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Adaptable, reliable and committed to high standards
• Keen to support pupils of all abilities, including those with ALN/SEN needs
• Open to working in a range of school settings including mainstream and specialist provisions
Roles may include:
• Full-time class teacher positions
• Part-time teaching roles
• PPA cover
• Intervention and booster support
• Long-term supply placements
• Maternity cover and fixed-term roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
