- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching pupils with SEND, particularly Autism, communication needs, and/or SEMH
- Is calm, patient, adaptable, and confident in managing behaviour positively
- Has a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential
- Is committed to full-time, long-term employment
- Holds a full UK Driving Licence (essential due to the school’s rural location)

- Previous experience within a specialist SEND or alternative provision setting
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only) – ideally on the Update Service

- Overseas Police Check (if applicable – living abroad for 6+ months in the last 5 years)
- An up-to-date CV demonstrating relevant teaching and SEND experience
