Primary School Teacher

About the Role

Hours: Full-time
Location: Cardiff
Pay: Teachers' Pay Scale (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Cardiff to recruit an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support pupils' progress while creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure high standards of teaching and learning and contribute to the wider life of the school.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), (or be willing to register before starting.)
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Current EWC registration.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

If you do not currently hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or EWC registration, Teaching Personnel can support you with the application process (fees apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
