Primary School Teacher – Cardiff

Location: Cardiff
Pay: £166.32 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a motivated and resilient Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community in Cardiff on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils' learning and development while contributing positively to the school environment.

About the Role

As a Primary Teacher, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum. You will monitor pupils’ progress, foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents, and maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who is:

  • Passionate about education and pupil development

  • Organised, creative, and enthusiastic in their teaching approach

  • Skilled in managing classroom behaviour effectively

  • Capable of identifying individual learning needs and adapting lessons accordingly

  • Committed to building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

Experience teaching the Foundation Phase is desirable, but not essential.


Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • EWC registration (mandatory in Wales)

  • An enhanced DBS check (child-only) – must be in place prior to starting (We can help with this!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
