Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and flexible Supply Teachers to support a variety of partner schools across the Exeter area. We work closely with local schools and multi-academy trusts to provide reliable teaching cover and ongoing support.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking flexible work to fit around other commitments, whether you’re looking for day-to-day supply or more consistent, long-term roles.

Location: Exeter, Devon
Pay: £120–£150 per day
Contract: Flexible – Part-Time & Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP – flexible start options available

The Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2

  • Support a variety of schools within the local area

  • Adapt confidently to different classroom settings and school environments

  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience or confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A flexible, proactive, and dependable approach

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
