Daily Supply | Short‑Term | Block Placements Available

Location: East Lancashire & Pendle
Job Type: Temporary / Supply
Working Pattern: Part‑Time, Full‑Time or Flexible

Job Overview

We are recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in East Lancashire and Pendle. Opportunities are available for day‑to‑day supply, short‑term cover, and block placements for candidates seeking more consistency.

This role is suitable for teachers who want flexibility in their workload as well as those who wish to secure longer‑term or block bookings within a single school.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • Follow school policies and maintain continuity of learning
  • Adapt to different school environments and classroom routines
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Support pupil engagement and progress
  • For block placements: contribute to planning, assessment and wider school life where required

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (UK) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS / KS1 / KS2)
  • Flexible, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
