Primary Supply Teacher

We are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and committed Supply Primary Teachers to join our team, providing high-quality teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as required.

This role is ideal for experienced teachers looking for flexibility and adhoc roles, as well as ECTs seeking to gain valuable experience across a range of year groups and school settings. Successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of education during staff absences.

Supply Primary Teacher

Location: Burnley/Nelson and surrounding areas – dependent on your travel expectations
Salary: £120 - £160 per day
Contract Type: Supply, Flexible Working Available
Start Date: As soon as you’re available

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with school curriculum plans.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including behaviour and safeguarding policies.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress where required.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and motivated throughout the school day.

You will need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and year groups.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils.
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
