Primary Supply Teacher
Job description
We are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and committed Supply Primary Teachers to join our team, providing high-quality teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as required.
This role is ideal for experienced teachers looking for flexibility and adhoc roles, as well as ECTs seeking to gain valuable experience across a range of year groups and school settings. Successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of education during staff absences.
Supply Primary Teacher
Location: Burnley/Nelson and surrounding areas – dependent on your travel expectations
Salary: £120 - £160 per day
Contract Type: Supply, Flexible Working Available
Start Date: As soon as you’re available

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with school curriculum plans.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress where required.
- Ensure pupils remain engaged and motivated throughout the school day.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
You will need
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and year groups.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils.
- A flexible, reliable and professional approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
