About the Role
You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including:
- Autism (ASD)
- ADHD
- Speech, language and communication needs
- Social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Learning delays or barriers to learning
Your duties will include:
- Providing 1:1 support and small-group guidance
- Assisting pupils with emotional regulation
- Helping deliver personalised learning activities
- Supporting classroom routines
- Working with teachers to implement EHCP targets
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive learning habits
Full training is provided, and you’ll work closely with experienced staff who will support your development.

- Confident working with additional needs (or willing to learn)
- Reliable and committed to supporting children long-term
- A good communicator who works well in a team
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, LSA, Support Worker, or within childcare is highly valued — but not essential. Strong character is more important than a perfect CV.
Hours & Pay
- Full-time preferred, part-time considered
- Monday–Friday, term time only
- Competitive daily rate / salary (depending on experience)
- Immediate or flexible start dates available
- Ongoing SEN and safeguarding training provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
