Primary School Teacher – September 2026 Opportunities

Location: Cardiff
Pay: £172.98 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Are you qualifying as a Primary Teacher this summer and looking for your first teaching role in September?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) to work across primary schools in Cardiff and the surrounding areas from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 while building confidence in your teaching career. Whether you are looking for full-time work, flexible supply teaching, or a longer-term placement, we can help find opportunities that suit your goals and availability.

We are looking for passionate individuals who are ready to create engaging learning experiences, support pupils of all abilities, and make a positive impact in the classroom from the very start of their teaching journey.

About the Role

• Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of children with a range of abilities.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Gain experience across a variety of school settings to develop your confidence and teaching practice.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently completing a Primary Education degree and due to gain QTS this summer.
• Passionate about education and eager to begin your teaching career.
• Positive, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupils’ progress.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Welsh-speaking skills are not essential but would be a great bonus!
