Job description

 

This inclusive, high-performing SEND setting supports children and young people aged 5 to 18 across multiple specialist sites.

The campus is widely recognised for its exceptional standards, nurturing ethos, and commitment to providing a safe, inspiring environment for pupils with diverse needs.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Premises Manager to support the effective running, safety, and maintenance of the campus.

Working closely with the Premises Manager, Operations Team and Caretaking staff, you will help ensure that all buildings and grounds remain secure, well-maintained and conducive to high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily caretaking tasks and provide clear direction to the premises team

  • Act as first point of contact for site-related matters across multiple campuses

  • Support the planning and monitoring of maintenance, compliance checks and servicing

  • Use digital systems to track statutory responsibilities, inspections and records

  • Liaise with senior leaders to maintain a strong health and safety culture

  • Assist with contractor management, including cleaning, waste services and equipment maintenance

  • Deputise for the Premises Manager in their absence

  • Ensure best value and high performance from external service providers

A vehicle for work purposes is required due to the multi-site nature of the role.

This role involves regulated activity with children. Successful applicants will need an enhanced DBS check and, where applicable, overseas police clearances.

Employment will be subject to satisfactory references and right-to-work checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
