PPA Cover Teacher – Preston (PR3)

Primary School Role | Flexible & Rewarding Opportunity

Teaching Personnel are excited to be supporting a fantastic primary school in the PR3 area of Preston, currently looking to appoint a confident and versatile PPA Cover Teacher.

This position offers the chance to step away from full class responsibility while still making a meaningful impact—delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting pupils across various year groups in a well-organised and welcoming school.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing PPA cover across different classes throughout the school
  • Delivering engaging lessons that keep pupils focused and motivated
  • Ensuring a smooth continuation of learning in the teacher’s absence
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistency
  • Quickly building positive relationships with pupils across the school

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS
  • Previous experience within UK primary education
  • Confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management
  • Someone who is adaptable, organised, and dependable
  • A passion for creating a positive and effective learning environment
