We are working with a large primary school in Barry who are looking for a full time PPA teacher to start ASAP. This wonderful primary school caters for just over 400 pupils from the age of 3 – 11 year olds, across 7 different classes.  This includes a small nursery setting.

The school places a strong emphasis on establishing a caring and inclusive learning community for all. All staff commit successfully to supporting vulnerable pupils and promoting the importance of good behaviour, courtesy and respect. As a result, most pupils enjoy going to school, feel safe there and treat each other, staff and visitors with respect.

They are ideally looking for a teacher who can work well right across the school from Early Years right up to Year 6. This will covering planned PPA time for teachers, but also to cover short term absences for sickness. You will be skilled across Key Stage 1 and 2 and be able to deliver planned work effectively, whilst establishing a calm classroom and controlling any behavioural issues.
