Job description

Primary Supply Teacher – Cardiff & Vale
Qualified Primary Teachers (QTS Required)

We are looking for qualified Primary Teachers with QTS and a PGCE or BA in Education to support a range of day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply roles across primary schools in Cardiff and the Vale.

Supply teaching is a great way to build experience in different school environments while maintaining a flexible schedule that works around you. Whether you're looking for regular work or occasional placements, we can offer opportunities to suit your availability.

The Role

Successful teachers will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary age range

  • Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management

  • Set high expectations for pupils

  • Adapt teaching to meet individual needs

  • Work collaboratively with school staff

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress

  • Create a positive learning environment

  • Inspire and motivate learners


Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Hold a PGCE or BA in Education

  • Have experience teaching in UK primary schools

  • Be confident managing classroom behaviour

  • Be reliable and professional

  • Be adaptable across different school settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
