Job description

PPA Teacher | 3 Days per Week | BS9 | September Start

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in BS9 that is looking for a confident and flexible PPA Teacher to join their team from September. This is a part time role, Wednesday to Friday, with regular opportunities to pick up additional days on Mondays and Tuesdays if desired.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing high quality PPA cover across the primary phase
• Teaching classes from EYFS to KS2, adapting quickly to different year groups and routines
• Delivering engaging lessons using plans provided by class teachers
• Maintaining a calm, positive and purposeful learning environment in each class
• Building strong relationships with pupils and staff across the school
• Contributing to the wider life of this friendly and inclusive school

This role involves no planning and no marking, allowing you to focus fully on high quality teaching and classroom presence.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confident teaching across primary age ranges (EYFS, KS1 and KS2)
• Strong classroom management and the ability to build rapport quickly
• Flexible, positive and proactive approach to working in different classes
• Good communication and organisational skills
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
