Location: Bridgend, South Wales
Pay Rate: £89.38 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full Academic Year

Are you driven to help young people overcome challenges and unlock their full potential?
We’re looking for a Positive Behaviour Coach to support pupils aged 7–19 in a specialist school for students with social, emotional and behavioural needs, autism, and disrupted education backgrounds.

In this hands‑on, high‑impact role, you’ll be a calm, consistent and motivating presence — helping learners regulate emotions, build confidence and re-engage with their education. You’ll work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to create a safe, structured and positive learning environment where every student feels seen, supported and capable of success.

Who We’re Looking For

Someone with:

  • Experience with children, youth work, care, mentoring or coaching
  • Confidence and resilience during challenging moments
  • A calm, patient and consistent approach
  • Understanding of ALN/SEMH needs
  • A genuine passion for helping young people grow emotionally and academically

✅ Requirements

  • Age 18+
  • Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Two professional references covering 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
