PE specialist/Sports Coach required for 12 month contract

Nelson Primary School

Full time – 37.5 hours per day with after school club responsibility 

Monday – Friday

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced and qualified educator to work in a Nelson Primary school. The candidate will be expected to deliver PE lessons throughout EYFS, KS1 and KS2 using the schools fantastic sports equipment & facilities. You will also be utilised supporting within classes across the school, predominately years 5 & 6. Due to the recent school closures, the school have decided to use a supply agency in order to source the candidate. The deputy has advised the role could be temp to perm with a school contract offered for the right candidate.

Experience working within schools and with primary aged pupils, excellent references and qualifications are essential for this role and were possible experience supporting key stage 2 pupils in maths, English & grammar is highly sought after. The school is easily accessible from the M65 and a variety of public transport links. The school has a number of pupils with behavioural issues and therefore the school behaviour policy will need to be followed. The role is full time, 8:30 – 15:30, with the opportunity to deliver after school clubs. The pay will depend on experience but will probably range from GBP10.20 - GBP12.20 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
