This position is being advertised by Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a thriving educational setting for morning sessions during term time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers with the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.

• Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted assistance.

• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and learning resources.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Supervise and support children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.

• Qualifications: A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent).

• Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well within a team.

• DBS Check: Must have a valid DBS check or be willing to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
