Part-Time Teaching Assistant (Mornings Only)

Start Date: After May Half Term (for the next academic year)

This position is being advertised by Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a thriving educational setting for morning sessions during term time.
Key Responsibilities:

Support class teachers with the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.

Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted assistance.

Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and learning resources.
-
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
-
Supervise and support children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
-
Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly classroom environment.
Requirements:
-
Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.

Qualifications: A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent).

Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well within a team.

DBS Check: Must have a valid DBS check or be willing to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
