Part-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant – Accrington
Are you passionate about supporting children in Key Stage 2 and helping them reach their full potential? A welcoming primary school in Accrington is seeking a committed Part-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Location: Accrington
Start Date: ASAP or after notice period
⏰ Hours: Part time, term time only
Role Type: Long-term
The Role:
You will work alongside the class teacher to support learning across KS2, providing tailored support to individuals and small groups, assisting with classroom routines, and contributing to a positive, engaging learning environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with pupils and supporting their academic and emotional development.
✨ What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children in a school or educational setting
- Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience with KS2 curriculum is desirable but not essential
- A genuine passion for helping children learn and succeed
Requirements:
- Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) or relevant experience
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- References covering the last 2 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
