Are you passionate about supporting children and young adults with Special Educational Needs?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school in Crewe who are in need of a passionate, proactive and resilient individual to join their team of behaviour teaching assistants who support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and challenging behaviours across all year groups.

This role will involve providing one-to-one learning provision and child-centred intervention sessions to encourage positive learning outcomes. The successful candidate will need to be competent in managing complex and challenging behaviours in order to maintain a controlled environment and promote successful learning.

This secondary school are extremely proud of the progress made by their students and have an outstanding track record of preparing their students for further education and the workplace.

Requirements of the role:

  • Must be willing and able to obtain a DBS certificate.
  • Must be able to provide two recent professional references.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH.

Highlights of the role:

  • £1540 - £1800 per month paid weekly through PAYE.
  • Full time, temporary position with opportunity to be permanent.
  • Refer a friend scheme.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
