Nursery Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in Birkenhead who are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis.

The role:

You'll be working within the school's Nursery provision, creating a stimulating environment where children can learn through play, explore their interests and develop the confidence and independence they need for the next stage of their education.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate EYFS learning

• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development

• Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

• Encouraging curiosity, communication and independence

• Monitoring and assessing children's progress

• Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team

• Building positive relationships with parents and carers

• Supporting the smooth transition of children into Reception
